privacy policy
Last updated July 7, 2026. This page explains how the mondaycounseling.org website handles visitor data. It's separate from — and much simpler than — the confidentiality protections that apply once you become a client.
this website vs. your clinical records
This policy covers the public website only — the pages you're browsing right now. It does not describe how your protected health information (PHI) is handled once you're a client; that's governed by a separate Notice of Privacy Practices under HIPAA, which is provided directly at intake. Nothing you do on this website (reading a page, clicking a link) creates a clinical record.
what this site collects
This site does not have any forms, so it never asks you to type in your name, email, phone number, or anything about why you're looking for a therapist. The only data collected is standard web analytics, via Google Analytics (GA4):
- which pages you visit and how you got here (e.g., search, a link)
- general device/browser info and approximate location (city-level, from IP address)
- a few specific button clicks, like "book a free consult," tracked as anonymous events so I know which parts of the site are useful
This data is aggregated and tied to a browser cookie, not to your name or identity. Analytics only runs on the live mondaycounseling.org domain — never on staging previews or local copies of the site.
I don't use Meta/Facebook Pixel, session-recording tools, or any advertising retargeting pixels on this site.
cookies
Google Analytics sets a cookie to distinguish repeat visitors. You can block or clear this at any time in your browser's privacy settings, or use a browser extension like Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. Blocking cookies doesn't affect your ability to use the site or book an appointment.
booking + contact
"Book a free consult" links take you to Sessions Health, a separate scheduling and client-portal platform — that's where any personal information you choose to share (name, contact info, reason for reaching out) is actually collected and stored, under their own privacy and security practices, not this website's.
The email and text links in the footer open your own email or messaging app and go directly to me. Standard email and SMS aren't encrypted end-to-end, so I'd ask that you keep anything you send that way general — save the details for a session.
